Welcome to Retired Life with Nana & Papa!
Our story began in 1976 when a Savannah girl met a Boston boy who came to town for a visit and ended up staying for many years. After dating for eight years, we were married and began building our life together.
Over the years, our journey took us from Maine to Maryland to Virginia, where we raised our two children, built lifelong friendships, and created countless memories.
When we retired, we made the move to Florida to be closer to our children and grandchildren. While it was difficult to leave behind dear friends, being surrounded by family has been one of the greatest blessings of this season of life.
Today, our lives are filled with faith, family, grandchildren, travel, good food, and gratitude for the many blessings God has given us.
We created this blog to share our adventures, favorite recipes, family stories, retirement experiences, and the simple joys of everyday life.
